Soooo after a break (which lasted too long for me 🙄), I’m finally back in the blogging business. Of course I wanted to start of this new ‘season of blogging’ with an exclusive post. Therefore I’ve teamed up with the Excelsior Hotel Gallia in Milano! If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve probably all noticed that I’ve been in Milan after my exams (sorry not sorry for all the spam 😜). We had a wonderful stay there, and of course I didn’t do nothing but shopping and eating. I also thought about my blog, and have some collaborations coming up. One of them is this one with the Excelsior Hotel Gallia, and more in particularly their Shiseido Spa. Keep reading on if you want to know more about this gorgeous hotel and its spa!!
From the outside you can already see that the hotel has a wonderful and impressive facade. That’s not something that shocking, since almost all the buildings in Milan are quite pretty. However, this one is like really impressive. Also, it’s located right next to the central station (very pretty as well, I can compare it to the Antwerp Central Station, except that this one is like 10x as big and twice as impressive), so the hotel is easy to reach and a wonderful view is assured because of that (see pictures below).
Next to the fact that the hotel is amazing (for real, it made me silent, a thing which does not happen often 😂), it has also been renovated a few years ago. The interior has some really instagrammable vibes, and the hotel has a lot of ‘little spaces’ so that you can cuddle up with your love or with a book wherever you want to. For example the library; it’s been made soundproof, and the interior is amazing as well. Also, because of the fact that they let an architect design all of the rooms, they ‘blur into each other’, everything fits next to each other and not a single detail has been overseen. Some examples of that: the separate elevator for acces to the 2 biggest suites, a separate entrance for ‘special guests’, a scent exclusively designed for this hotel which gives it a fresh and nice scent, etc etc.
Okay but enough about the hotel, the fact that I felt like a Kardashian could easily walk past me, says it all I guess. Besides, there were so many aspects and impressions I loved, that I’m probably forgetting to mention most of them. 🤷🏽 1 last thing I have to mention is their hallway; it has a chandelier with a length of 30 meters, and for real guys: this chandelier gave me life. 😂 My life goal (one of the many many many I have, lol) from now on is to have a chandelier like that, ànd a hallway that can fit it. 😂 See pic below!
Okay, but now for real enough about the hotel. My main subject for this post was the Shiseido spa. It’s the only Shiseido spa in Italy, and a Shiseido spa doesn’t even exist in Belgium. They have too many treatments to list up, so if you’re really interested I recommend you to visit their site. However, I can give you an idea of what the spa looks like. They have all sorts of rooms and the spa has 2 floors. They have an indoor swimming pool, an ‘ice room’ to cool down, a warm room with the scent of salt etc etc. The things I liked most are the indoor swimming pool (since it’s located on a high level), the indoor golf court, and the fitness. Everyone who knows me knows that I’m not a sporty spice, but if I had that location to workout, I would definitely be motivated. It has an extreme broad view over the city of Milano ànd 2 personal trainers are available for you to coach you (and girls, they don’t look bad at alllll 😜😜).
We got a lovely tour, and I would love to thank the SPA-Team and Domenica for giving us their time ànd for having us of course! We got so much information that it was impossible to write everything down here, also putting the experience we had in words, would deprive the actual experience. It’s too beautiful to express with words and if you have to opportunity, you should definitely pay the Excelsior Hotel Gallia a visit. Also if you have any other questions, you can always ask me, or (even better) you can send them an email. I’m sure Domenica and her team are glad to help you out!
Since pictures say more than thousand words, I’ll drop my pictures in here. note: the hotel is soooo big and majestic, that even pics actually don’t succeed. However, it gives you an impression of what kind hotel this is and of how pretty everything is in there.
PS: interesting fact for the boys (or girls) amongst you; the hotel has a collaboration with Maserati. You can see this in the private dining area, and on the streets of Milano! Shiny black Maserati’s with the logo of the hotel drive through the streets, super cool!
